Another Play Date!

We had another play date with Aubrey and this time she was awake, so Katie was very excited! Mandy and I realized that Aubrey and Katie have the same outfit, so we decided to try and get some pictures of them together in their matching outfits. Aubrey didn't know what to think of Katie!

Then we tried to get a few pictures of Kellen and Aubrey. Kellen was so funny - he kept touching Aubrey's ear and it looked like he had his arm around her! Too cute!

This is the best picture that I got of the three of them together this time. They had so much fun!

7 Months Old

Kellen is now 7 months old and it's getting harder to take his monthly pictures due to his interest in the sign. I was able to take a few good pictures before he grabbed the sign thanks to Katie (which explains his big smile and why he's not looking at the camera). Then he grabbed the sign and it was all over.

I guess we'll see how it goes next month!

Trip To The Zoo

The weather was actually really nice last weekend, so we decided to take the kids to the zoo. Kellen wasn't all that impressed, but Katie sure was! She absolutely loved seeing all the animals in person and especially liked the monkeys. Here are a few pictures from our trip:

She has been talking about all of the animals and how much fun she had all week! We can't wait until the weather is nice so we can go to the zoo again!

Applesauce

So we finally found a food that Kellen doesn't like........... applesauce. It was the first fruit that he tried and he did not like it AT ALL. In fact, he was gagging like Katie used to. Here is a picture of the face he made the first time he tried it. Poor kid.

However, we introduced the sippy cup the other day and he LOVES it! He takes a few sips and then smiles at you like he's so proud of himself!

Grandpa's Birthday

We have been celebrating quite a few birthdays lately, which is great for Katie since she loves cake and singing Happy Birthday. Here are a few pictures of Grandpa Tom's birthday party:

She LOVES to sing Happy Birthday to anyone and everything. We sing to mommy, daddy, Kellen, Roxie, her baby, the clock, her stroller, you name it. So as you can see, she was very excited to have everyone sing to Grandpa.

The next birthday is Katie's, so it will be fun to see how she reacts when everyone sings to her!

When Mommy's Not Home.........

Apparently Katie gets to play on a ladder. Brett was up on the ladder fixing the clock after daylight savings and felt someone tapping on his foot. Oh yes, Katie had started to climb up the ladder! Here she is posing on the ladder....
