Yummy!

Kellen had rice cereal for the first time the other day and as you can tell by his face, he wasn't a big fan of it.

But he did love chewing on the spoon, so we gave it to him and let him go to town.

I think we'll start vegetables next - hopefully he'll like those a little more!

Katie Loves Kellen............'s Stuff

When we got out the Bumbo for the first time Katie squeezed herself into it right away. We've gradually gotten out Kellen's other baby gear and she's always wanted to try it out for herself. Here she is telling me that it's her turn in the bouncy seat.

And here she is taking her turn in the bouncy seat. I tried to get a picture of how low to the ground the bouncy seat was, but it's pretty hard to tell. Although, if you notice how low the back of the seat is compared to the Bumbo you can get an idea.
Here is Katie in the Exersaucer - she loves to sit in there and read her books. She loved putting her babies in Kellen's car seat for awhile, but she's been leaving it alone since she got a car seat for her babies for Christmas. However, the other day she was being pretty quiet while I was making dinner, so I looked around the corner to see what she was doing and she was all tucked up in his car seat. It was hilarious!

Snow!

We've gotten a lot of snow this winter and Katie loves to play in it! Daddy showed her that she can eat snow - I hope he also told her to stay out of Roxie's area!

Katie also had her first real sledding experience this year. As you can tell by her face, she loved it!

She even got her Roxie to go sledding with her, although Roxie jumped off (or fell off?) when daddy started going fast.

5 Months Old!

Kellen is 5 months old already! He's getting so big - at his doctor appointment last week he weighed 20 pounds 3 ounces! Here are his pictures from months 1-5 so you can see how much he's grown!
